What types of fences can you install?

We can install pretty much any type of fence that you need. We install wood fences, privacy fences, ornamental fencing, chain link, farm fencing, PVC, aluminum, wrought iron, pool fencing, dog fences, picket fencing, commercial fencing and more.

What grade of fence material do you use?

Yard Dog Fencing & Decks uses only professional residential grade materials.

How do I care for my fence?

Depending on the type of fence you get, some fence materials (such as aluminum) need very little maintenance, whereas wood fencing will need periodic staining over the years. When we install your fence for you we will go over any suggested maintenance.

What is your warranty?

Many of our manufacturers have a lifetime warranty. We will go over the warranty information with you once you have decided on the fence type that you want.

What is the cost of vinyl compared to wood?

The cost of of vinyl fence versus a wood fence is higher, but vinyl fencing requires less maintenance.

What kind of fence will keep my dog confined?

Almost any kind of fence be sufficient in containing your pet dog, but the main factor is the levelness of the ground. Chain link, wood, ornamental, PVC, they are all good. We recommend considering your landscaping too when choosing a dog fence.

How long will my fence last?

With proper maintenance, fences today should last for decades or longer. We will go over the maintenance needs of your fence with you.

How does staining/sealing a fence increase life of the fence?

Staining protects the natural fibers and oil that are in the wood. Without the protection, the oil will turn gray and the natural oils will be leeched out by weather.

What choices of fence materials are there?

There are several different types of metal, wood and PVC materials to choose from when choosing your fence. We recommend considering different factors when deciding, including maintenance, cost, durability, and the need to match your landscaping.
